The Three Lees

Ricky, Shelby, and Jimmie Lee
Will always mean a lot to me
A lot in common they all three had
I felt at times like I was their dad. 

They all were poor in earthly wealth
And none of them was a picture of health
Two are dead and one doth remain
And they all suffered a lot of pain.

 In spite of their handicaps and sufferings galore
They loved the Lord Jesus more and more
They were faithful to church in any season
And their love for Jesus was the reason.

What an inspiration and example to us
One in a wheelchair and two on a bus
They taught me that a little bit means a lot
When we give to the Lord all that we’ve got.
